Dawn Hall / Dawn Hall Fit is one of the best gifts I have ever given to myself!  As I approach my 59th birthday I feel better than I have ever felt!  With Dawn's knowledge, patience, and nurturing she quickly assessed my needs, my strengths, and weaknesses and developed a program tailor made for me.  She has the ability to observe her clients and gently but firmly pushes them forward.  Each session is different than the one before complete with goals and higher levels of capabilities.  I am so blessed that Dawn is a part of my life.  Her encouragement is just what I need to keep my body and spirit balanced and healthy.  Not only is she my personal trainer, she is now my dear friend.

I used to think fitness had to be hard, unenjoyable and required a treadmill.  After training with Dawn I have learned what my mind believes is exactly what I will receive.  Now, fitness is simple, caters to what I enjoy and does not require a treadmill.  I have lost more weight in 10 weeks than the past 10 years.  The best part is my fitness requires less work and I am confident my weight loss is permanent.  I will continue to put my well being first as I have experienced its necessary for the other areas of my life to be healthy.  The lifestyle approach is the complete, perfectly balanced plan that helped me find my own style of fitness that does not look like anyone else’s.  I don’t have to understand why I do less and receive more results, I just have to continue to believe and practice what I have found works for me.  I am grateful to have found something I can trust will work for a lifetime, this journey has freed up energy for me to focus on other areas of my life with more enthusiasm. I was first introduced to Dawn 15 years ago when my mother was a part of her gym team. Knowing the guidance, coaching and positive impact Dawn had on my mother's life at that time I knew she would be the perfect fit for me and my fitness journey.  I was at a place in my life where I needed more accountability and a coach that would help me mentally as well as physically to reach my goals. Dawn's compassion and knowledge in her craft gave me hope, self love and confidence to build the body I have always dreamed of.   I would not be where I am at today if I did not reach out to Dawn to be my mentor in my fitness journey. I believed she was the one for me because I have always admired her strength as a women.  Dawn has made sure to provide me with the best program to support my goals. Dawn has shown me that to succeed in fitness long term, I must practice focusing on a lifestyle of fitness, not just a quick fix. I have been training with Dawn since before I was in college. Her specialty with me is the way she can naturally push me out of my comfort zone and encourage me to try unique workouts. My favorite types of exercises are strength and leg training. I also use Dawn’s natural line of supplements daily to sustain my energy and replenish my vitamin and mineral deficiencies. I am grateful Dawn helped me learn how to continue my lifestyle journey of health and fitness through out college. Now that I have finished Grad school I am more confident in my health and fitness choices.

Dawn and I have been training together since 2009.  I have a busy schedule that doesn’t always allow me to meet for training as frequently as I would like, but Dawn has taught me that it’s about practicing the little things consistently that will sustain my results until I can get back into a more regular exercise routine at the gym.  This journey of fitness has turned into a grace filled experience - meaning that I do not work for my fitness, my fitness works for me.  Dawn has taught me to slow down and simply listen to what my body needs, right now, and do not put off what my body is asking for.  It’s been an amazing journey to find out how simple fitness can be and remain a part of my busy lifestyle.  Whether I get to one training session per week or all three as long as I just show up, Dawn will accommodate my body's needs so I can have more energy to focus on the rest of my life.

I've thoroughly enjoyed working with Dawn! I'm at a point in my life where I have been going through some major physical and mental changes - my body just won't do the same things it would even a year ago. Dawn has been patient and worked with me to re-adjust my workout to fit my body as it is today. That means working around existing injuries and at an age appropriate level to help prevent new ones. It was really hard for me to accept that I can't do the same things at the same speed anymore so Dawn had to help me get to a place in my head where I was ready to be a little more patient with myself. I'm very grateful that Dawn has come into my life and is helping me move into this next stage! Thanks again, Dawn!
